Clean Air Day

  • Date: 8th October 2020
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Cost: Free

Individuals and businesses in Birmingham are being encouraged to show their support for Clean Air Day on 8 October.

Every year 1,000 people in Birmingham die from conditions linked to air pollution, including cancer, heart and lung disease.

In support of this year's Clean Air Day on Thursday, 8 October 2020, we are encouraging everyone in Birmingham to take action to reduce their carbon footprint and contribution to air pollution.

Let's leave the cars at home and where we can, walk, cycle or take public transport (if it's safe to do so). You can also get more inspiration on what you can do to help from the official Clean Air Day website.
