You can pay a Clean Air Zone charge by calling the National Contact Centre on 0300 029 8888: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm Saturday 8:00am to 2:00pm, or you can pay online. Pay a Clean Air Zone charge on the GOV.UK website

Route to Birmingham's Clean Air Zone

The Government has instructed local authorities across the UK with implementing Clean Air Zones to improve air quality. Unlike a congestion charge, which charges every single vehicle to pass through a certain area, Clean Air Zones will only charge the most high-polluting vehicles to drive within the boundary.

Birmingham has chosen to implement a Category D Clean Air Zone but will not include motorcycles.
