Join our Clean Air Day events

We’re committed to improving air quality and we would like everyone in the city to be part of our journey to improving the air we breathe.
That’s why we’re hosting a series of events to highlight the importance of Clean Air as we approach Clean Air Day.
Poor air quality is one of the biggest risks to the environment and our wellbeing. It’s bad for our health, our wallet and our planet.
By attending one of our sessions, you can meet air quality experts and learn about air pollution, how it affects health, and what we can do about it. You can also find out more about air quality monitoring, showing how air quality is measured and its impact in your area.
There’s also a range of fun activities for all ages, designed to educate and inspire action.
Air quality plays a huge role in our lives. It has a direct impact on health and the economy, contributing to hundreds of early, preventable deaths and making many existing health conditions worse. Air pollution has the biggest impact on the poorest and most vulnerable in our communities, including children.
By working together and staying informed, we can all help make Birmingham a fresher, healthier place to live. Let’s make clean air part of our everyday by making small changes that have big impacts and support local efforts for a better environment.
